Tilburg University awarded second place in Econometric Game 2017

Tilburg University was awarded joint second place with the University of Copenhagen in the global Econometric Game 2017. 

The Econometric Game, hosted by the University of Amsterdam, welcomed students from 30 universities and gave them two days to resolve a case study. The event tested students majoring in econometrics (and related subjects) and asked them to study the impact of roll-down shutters on windows and doors as a crime prevention device. 

Other finalists included: Warsaw School of Economics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Lund University, University Carlos III of Madrid, New Economic School, McGill University, Erasmus University.
