What is a pathway programme?

A pathway programme prepares international students to succeed at university, developing their English and academic skills before they begin their degree. Study your Foundation Year at the Holland International Study Centre and prepare for an undergraduate degree at one of our partner universities. The International Foundation Year will make sure you are ready to study your English-taught degree in Holland.

How does a pathway programme work?

A pathway programme gives international students time and support to adjust to life in a new country. It also prepares them for university-level study.

You will benefit from the following:

  • Support at the application stage and throughout your time at the International Study Centre.
  • English language teaching to grow your confidence.
  • Help with study skills, such as time management.
  • Western university-style teaching, which is more interactive.
  • Academic preparation in your chosen subject route.
  • Guaranteed progression to your chosen university on successful completion of your pathway programme.
