Holland’s sixth largest city, Tilburg is home to 200,000 residents and 28,000 students. This is a vibrant city with an industrial heritage and lots of cafes, culture and entertainment venues. Van Gogh took his first drawing class in this city and, each July, Tilburg hosts one of the largest funfairs in Europe.
The cost of living is lower than in other Dutch cities, and it is easy to reach Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Belgium by train.
